Marty Beale

[Partner in Mindful Designs]

A vocal and inspiring captain and leader for many “teams” throughout his life, his attitude and leadership now provide a consistent and powerful motivational force for our team. Marty completed his undergraduate studies at Middlebury College in Vermont with focuses on Ecology, Environmental Science and Sustainable Building/Design. Through independent research and seminar attendance he is constantly fostering his education in the vast and dynamic world of green building and design. Locally Marty has designed and built numerous alternative construction home projects, including two straw-bale homes, and has played a key role in the inception of the Flathead Green Builders Guild. Marty is a N.A.H.B. Certified Green Building Professional and serves as Designer, Project Manager and positive attitude jet-fuel for the Mindful Team.

Jason Pohlman

[Founder/Partner in Mindful Designs]


Organized, forever calm in the face of chaos, and with a cunning ability to determine the critical facts and details behind any challenging situation, he provides the nucleus for our company’s operations. No Mindful job is carried out without his behind-the-scenes involvement, and he often appears on-site for the finishing stages. He completed his undergraduate studies at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY majoring in Business and Finance. His post-college finish carpentry experience on Nantucket Island dream homes fostered not only carpentry skills, but an eye and a mind for detail-oriented design solutions. Jason is a N.A.H.B. Certified Green Building Professional and currently serves on the board of the Flathead Building Association.

Dave Radatti

[Founder/Partner in Mindful Designs]

Energetic, inspiring and original, Dave has the uncanny ability to rouse creativity and enthusiasm in all around him. With clients he can quickly identify their needs and help them visualize various possibilities of a project. On site he naturally gets the crews fired-up to work as smart, safe and efficient as possible and creates a fun atmosphere with integrity and professionalism. Dave completed his undergraduate studies at Middlebury College, Vermont, focusing on Ecology, Environmental Conservation, and Sustainable Building/Design. After College, he apprenticed as a finish carpenter on Nantucket Island, and again with a Vermont-based timber frame company. Dave is a N.A.H.B. Certified Green Building Professional, serves as Designer and Project Manager and enters the stage as Lead Carpenter for the superstructure erection of our projects.

Casey

Casey brings fantastic energy with consistent detail oriented quality work to our job-sites. He is forever improving his knowledge-base and repertoire of Green-Building techniques, focusing on sustainable practices and organic-style finish installations (see picture). We often place our greatest responsibilities of on-site management to his capable and caring hands. His passion for being involved in environmentally responsible Home Building projects drives his commitment to Mindful Designs. He has been with us nearly from the beginning, and his efforts have been an essential part of our success.

James Reed

It is fair to say that there must be only a very small percentage of people on this planet that can match the skilled hand and super-human production capacity of Jimmy. Day in and day out we are gifted with his humble and gentle persona, which is complemented by his unnaturally talented craftsmanship. Jimmy is the silent leader that allows us to achieve the near impossible on a regular basis.

Bryan Grace

Detail-oriented, flexible and committed, Bryan has a passion for getting the job done right. ‘Boss’ has the spirit of a true competitor, sustained by his Division One sports experience, which helps in the daily challenges of the construction world. New challenges are introduced to our world of construction almost daily. As Mindful continue to develop and advance as a company, there is no doubt Bossman will be pushing and assisting in a positive and forward direction through all adversity.
